FreeCourses.App courses are general education. They help you understand a topic and ask better questions. They aren't advice about your situation.

General information, not advice

Everything on FreeCourses.App, including lessons, worked examples, quizzes, calculators and interactive tools, is general information prepared without knowing your objectives, finances, needs or circumstances. It isn't legal, tax, financial, accounting, estate planning, marketing or any other professional advice. Using the site doesn't make us your lawyer, tax agent, accountant or financial adviser.

Before you act, or decide not to act, on anything you learn here, get advice from a suitably qualified professional who knows your situation. In Australia, that might be a solicitor, a registered tax agent, or a holder of an Australian Financial Services licence.

Legal and tax courses

  • Courses focus on Australian law unless they say otherwise. Law and practice differ between States and Territories, and between countries.
  • Tax rates, thresholds and rules change, often every financial year. Lessons state the position as at the time they were written and may not reflect later changes, court decisions or rulings.
  • Wills, trusts and estates carry serious and sometimes irreversible consequences. Never sign, vary or rely on a legal document because of a course alone.
  • Calculators and estimators give simplified illustrations using stated assumptions. They aren't tax assessments and may not match what you actually owe.

Marketing and SEO courses

Search engines and platforms such as Google and YouTube change their systems and policies without notice. We describe how they generally work based on public information; we can't guarantee rankings, traffic, views or income. FreeCourses.App isn't affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Google, YouTube or any other platform mentioned, and their names and trade marks belong to their owners.

Examples are fictional

People, families, businesses, websites and figures in worked examples (for example, the Chen family and Luna Bakes) are made up to illustrate a point. Any resemblance to real people or businesses is coincidental.

Accuracy

We work hard to keep courses accurate and up to date, but we can't promise that every detail is complete, correct or current. If you spot an error, please tell us at hello@freecourses.app and we'll look into it.

Your consumer rights

This disclaimer doesn't exclude any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded. See our terms of use for more.
