1. Who we are

FreeCourses.App is operated by KAZMAROS PTY LTD (ABN 71 695 478 721) ("we", "us"). Contact us at hello@freecourses.app.

2. The service

FreeCourses.App offers free online courses with lessons, quizzes, progress tracking and certificates of completion. The courses are free and we don't ask for payment details. We may add, change or remove courses and features from time to time. We aim to keep the site available, but we don't promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may pause it for maintenance.

3. Educational information only

Courses explain topics such as law, tax and online marketing in general terms. They are not legal, tax, financial or other professional advice, and using the site doesn't create a lawyer-client, adviser-client or any other professional relationship. Please read the disclaimer before relying on any course.

4. Your password and profile

• There are no usernames. Your progress is saved against the password you choose, so treat it like a key.
• Choose a password that others are unlikely to use and that you don't use on any other site. Anyone who enters the same password will see and can change the same progress.
• We never store your password, so we can't recover it or tell you what it was.
• You're responsible for keeping your password to yourself. Tell us if you think the service has been misused.
• You can download or delete your profile at any time from My learning.

5. Acceptable use

When using the site, you agree not to:

• try to guess, collect or use other people's passwords or access profiles that aren't yours;
• attack, overload, probe or interfere with the site or its security, or get around the login rate limit;
• scrape, copy or republish course content in bulk, or use it to train or build a competing product;
• use offensive, misleading or impersonating names on certificates, or present a certificate as something it isn't;
• break any law, or help anyone else do any of these things.

We may block access or remove a profile if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken.

6. Course content and intellectual property

The courses, lessons, quizzes, illustrations, interactive tools, design and software on FreeCourses.App are owned by or licensed to KAZMAROS PTY LTD and protected by copyright and other laws. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view and use them for your own learning, and to print or save your certificates and short extracts for personal use. For anything else, such as reproducing lessons, using them in paid training or republishing them, please ask us first.

Names such as Google and YouTube belong to their owners. FreeCourses.App isn't affiliated with or endorsed by them. People, families and businesses in the worked examples are fictional.

7. Certificates

A certificate of completion shows that a profile completed every lesson and passed every module quiz of a course. It isn't an accredited qualification, a licence, a statement of competency or a Continuing Professional Development record, and we don't verify the identity or name of the person who earned it.

8. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't lawfully be excluded, including the consumer guarantees. Where those laws apply, these terms are read subject to them. Consumers in other countries may also have rights under their local laws that these terms don't affect.

9. Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, and subject to section 8:

• the site and its content are provided free of charge and "as is", and we don't guarantee that content is complete, current or suitable for your circumstances;
• we aren't liable for loss arising from decisions you make based on course content without getting advice for your situation;
• we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of saved progress; and
• where our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited to supplying the service again.

This doesn't limit our liability for anything that can't be limited by law, such as liability for our fraud or for personal injury caused by our negligence.

10. Links to other websites

Lessons may link to official sources and other websites. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.

11. Ending use

You can stop using the site and delete your profile at any time. We may suspend or stop offering the site, or any course, at any time. If we close the service, we'll try to give reasonable notice on the site so you can download your data and print your certificates first.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features. We'll change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, put a notice on the site. The terms that apply are the ones on this page when you use the site.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia and of the State or Territory where KAZMAROS PTY LTD has its registered office. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts there. If you live outside Australia, you keep any protections your local law gives you that can't be excluded by agreement.
